SPIRITUALLY INTACT vol. 1 is part of the Spiritually Intact series written by Maurice E. Okekere. This volume contains the author's introductory pieces that were penned between 1999 and 2007. These writings, driven by The Great Commission, are aimed at expounding on the Word of Truth in order to inspire faith, cultivate spiritual growth, and promote conscientious awareness. The “Spiritually Intact” series is built on the solid core values of Grace, Truth and Love.
SI vol.1 comprises 58 pieces that explore different ‘aspects and facets’ of our humanity, and search for spiritual identity; from personal experience and observations to relationships, our existential challenges and also rediscovery of faith. The author’s practical expressive style and descriptive flexibility acquired through a life of cross-cultural exposure brings heart and soul to each poetically-driven piece. “How”, “Well Being”, “How I Wish”, and “Elevated Hip Hop” are just some of the unique pieces that embody a few of these themes. The aim, goal and objective is to build-up, inspire and encourage - in these challenging times.
The Author
Maurice E. Okereke (Words by MOE) is a writer focused on intellectual and spiritual themes. He began writing in 1999. At six, he first traveled to the United States, attending primary school in Arkansas and Louisiana. He later graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, after attending boarding school at F.G.C. Ikot-Ekpene. Moe now resides in Nigeria with his family. He enjoys parks, fitness, American football, and photography.
